LaX2028: Welcome to fact or fiction my esteemed
guests are the GM of the Denver Nuggets Mr. Ginnstar and the Gm
of the Golden State Warriors Oakes.
LaX2028: How's it going fellas?
Ginnigus: I feel like I'm on top of the world... but since I'm
in a basement apartment, I suppose I'm not.
Ginnigus: I am "almost on top of the world"
oakes40: Not bad, just watching my White Sox getting spanked
LaX2028: Suprise Suprise eh Oakes, and ginn I'm on the 3rd floor
what does that mean?
Ginnigus: you're above on top of the world... in some sort of
weird dimension I don't even want to think about...
LaX2028: anyways-
Ginnigus: YES, anyways...
LaX2028: 1st quarter The Raptors will win their 3rd NBN
Championship this year. Fact or Fiction?
oakes40: Fiction. *censored*, the Twolves will
ride through the playoffs on KG and TMac.
Ginnigus: Fiction: The Raptors are fallable. They've proven it
this year. Teams can go into Toronto and beat them. It's not a
matter of the Raptors getting worse, but of everyone else
getting better. I think the Wolves match up excellently against
the Raptors, and should they meet in the finals the Raptors can
definately lose. Minny 4 games to 2.
LaX2028: Damn no love for the champs. 2nd quarter LeBron James
is the best player in the NBN. Fact or Fiction?
oakes40: Fiction. Dirk Nowitski is. I know he's on the Bucks but
34.9ppg and 10rpg is sick. I don't care what team he's on that's
impressive. He is also 7'0" tall which makes him much more
valuable than LeBon.
Ginnigus: Fiction: Contrary to what Yanks says, and his ego
would like us to believe, Lebron is not the best player on the
best team in the league. Hell, Lebron isn't the best player on
his goddamn team. Kosta is. Especially when you consider Kosta
is freaking 19, with mad potential. LeBron is an over-rated
piece of monkey spunk. "King James" is good, but jesus h fucking
christ, he's NOT our worlds savior. He's over-rated, over-hyped,
and over-coddled.
LaX2028: Somewhere out there Yanks is having a seizure. 3rd
quarter Tanking is a nesseciary part of our league Fact or
Fiction?
oakes40: Fact. If tanking wasn't allowed I think many people
would loose interest. They might be stuck with a terrible team
for a few seasons, and never really care about the league,
trying to see how many games you can loose can be as much fun as
trying to see how many you can win.
Ginnigus: Fiction: Benching your best players is the mark of a
fool. It's not needed. I mean, generally instead of making your
own pick oh so special for that one extra player, you can appear
terrible, trade that pick for the missing piece, and then win
game after game. It's wrong to intentionally lose. It's always
been wrong, and tanking is wrong in all of it's forms. You
should go out there and put in the best depth chart possible to
win games. If your team is terrible, that's a different point.
LaX2028: Finally, A freaking argument. Lets keep it up 4rth
quarter The Pacific is the Best division in the league. Fact or
Fiction?
oakes40: Fact. Without a doubt it is the stongest in terms of
not only teams but also individual players. The Pacific has 6
teams in the Western playoff standings as of today, and I
believe that the Suns, Warriors, and Lakers are better than
every team in the East with excpetion to the Raptors and
possibly Bulls.
Ginnigus: Fact: Despite not having the top two teams in the
league (Minny and Toronto) the Pacific boasts a division where
you can lose to ANY of their teams on any night (pardon me, any
but 1.. sorry Sacramento, but you can't cut it) That being said,
how was this allowed to happen... did people not notice that a
single division was amassing great power? would it not be smart
to limit the great players to them? I mean, do you trade with
your greatest rival knowing that the guys you traded are going
to come back and end up costing you a playoff spot or a division
title? NO, of course not. If you do, then you're not thinking
about what you're doing. Allowing a division dominance like this
one has been allowed is the same thing.
LaX2028: Hey the atlantic is pretty sweet right....Ok nevermind
we're going to overtime because well, thats what's expected.
Spursman deserved to be kicked to the curb. Fact or Fiction.

Ginnigus: Fact: Spursman was a terrible gm, and a terrible
person. He deserved what he got. Any GM that doesn't post DC's,
posts insensible posts on the forums, and runs their team
straight into the ground with little hope of returning it to
glory deserves to be kicked out. Let me change that from "any"
to ALL. ALL GM's like that (and there are many) should be put to
death, and done with.
